According to GSMArena, the update introduces new premium-looking finishes for both models in the lineup, offering consumers more design choices without changing the devices’ core specifications.

No Changes to Hardware or Performance
Xiaomi clarified that the new color releases are purely cosmetic. Both models retain their original specifications, including high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, large-capacity batteries, and fast-charging support.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro continues to run on a MediaTek chipset, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon processor, offering stronger performance and faster charging capabilities.
Availability
The Cherry Red and Mocha Brown variants became available beginning January 1, with rollout expected to vary by market and region.
